1. I recently read someone posing the question, “Who are the brains behind Lady Gaga’s over-the-top costumes?”
That question is based upon a premise someone used a brain to come up with them. Have you seen what the woman wears? Meat.
2. I recently viewed a television commercial promoting the merits of Bosch Wiper Blades. The selling point was “storm chasers” use them to clear their way.
Let me get this straight. I’m to trust the judgment of which wiper blade to use – or anything else for that matter – to those who voluntarily drive into tornadoes and hurricanes?
3. I recently read someone posing a question questioning the logic of riding a bicycle with – instead of against – traffic. The responder made the point a bicycle is a vehicle and has to abide by the rules of the road, no different as if you were riding a motorcycle. In case the questioner was for some reason still straddling the bike…um, fence…the responder noted, “Studies do show that wrong-way cyclists are much more likely to get hit.”
Studies would show that. They were going the wrong way.
