Hit Snooze With Your TV On…You’ll Be Sorry

Thought it was a pretty good idea all these years to gently wake up via a combination of my alarm clock snooze function and having the television quietly playing in the background…until today.

If I help just one other person this will be a worthwhile advisory.  I was the unfortunate victim of being in barely awake mode when the network I had on rolled this “hit” commercial out just as the sun was coming up…

You have to picture yourself just awakening to the day…trying to get your bearings…making sure all your body parts are intact and still functioning, etc.

Then…the “spider” shows up.

I almost fell out of the bed.

I can still hear the screaming.

I kinda liked this commercial until this morning.  Now…not so much.

Rise and shine! LOL. I’ll bet that got the ol’ heart pumping. We were just watching this commercial a few nights ago. The kids wanted to see it 3x in a row.

  2. It did get me “motivated” TL! Certainly is a cautionary tale for those who want to leave an image on their devices that might create a strong, unexpected reaction from the unsuspecting at their first glance!

    I love that ad!

  4. Yes, Lowdogg..I guess I will admit to not turning against it completely. Clever. Just not at 6 AM.
